Yoga for Test/ Meeting Prep

Try these yoga poses and breathing techniques before your big moment to create clarity and calm of the mind.
Mountain pose
This is a power stance to build confidence and awaken the body.
2. Forward fold
Inversions are great for calming the nervous system.
3. Tree pose
Finding your balance creates a mental focus that is perfect to use right before test-taking.
Hold the posture that you choose for at least 3 rounds.
Inhale for 6 counts
Hold for 6 counts
Exhale for six counts
This breathing technique combined with these specific poses will bring all of your awareness to your breath, therefore the present moment. Concentration is difficult when your mind is anticipating something else or anxiety in general.
Coming into the present moment allows for you to find your mental focus and clarity to ace that test or do amazing in that meeting!
