Alternate Nostril Breath

I LOVE this breath anytime, but especially during pregnancy!

This clears both nasal passageways and balances the hemispheres of the brain. It also creates a sense of harmony and helps relieve stress and tension headaches. 

I also love to use this to find clarity when I have to make a big decision!

What to do: 

  • Press your thumb into the right nostril and breathe into your left nostril. 

  • Now close your left nostril with your ring and pinky finger and exhale through your right nostril. 

  • Start again, on the right this time. Breathe in through your right nostril and exhale through the left. 

Try this breath for 3-5 minutes and see how you feel after.
